Senate Minority Leader, Senator Enyinnaya Harcourt Abaribe, has described Nigerian Christian Hospital, Nlagu in Obingwa Local Government Area of Abia State as a hospital with long history. Senator Abaribe made this assertion while inspecting projects he attracted to the three senatorial districts in Abia State. It will be recalled Abaribe helped establish a minigrid to complement the power situation in the hospital.The Senator who said they have undertaken some other interventions such as drugs donation, explained that the hospital has a long history and has been providing medical services to a huge number of patients.

According to him, with the installation of the minigrid, the hospital will no longer suffer power outages, especially during surgeries.It will be recalled that Abaribe has attracted solar powered grids to Seventh Day Adventist Hospital; General Hospital, Aba; Abia State University Teaching Hospital, Aba; Amaorji Health Centre in Isiala Ngwa Local Government Area and Uzuakoli General Hospital in Bende Local Government Area.
