Ikpeazu Has Galvanised Human And Material Resources In Abia-Senator Kalu

 Senate Chief Whip and former governor of Abia State, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu has lauded the giant strides of Gov. Okezie Ikpeazu, especially at the quality of roads in Aba. 
Kalu in a new year visit to the governor at his Umuobiakwa country home, Obingwa Local Government Area, said the governor has galvanised human and material resources in the state for the good of all.
While commending Gov. Ikpeazu for the peace and security enjoyed in the state during the festivities, the former governor observed that he was elated by the quality of roads that dotted the landscape and the numerous achievements of the governor in diversified areas.
He thanked Ikpeazu for the concerted efforts in rebuilding and repositioning the state, adding that the governor’s leadership style is exemplary.
 While appealing to the governor to extend his ‘caterpillar revolution’ to Umuahia- Bende-Akara-Igbere-Ohafia expressway, he noted that despite repeated appeals through the federal ministry of works, the federal government has failed to reconstruct the road.
In his response, Gov. Ikpeazu explained that the essence of leadership is service to the people,even as he explained  that his style of leadership is devoid of bitterness and unnecessary bickering. 
He appreciated Senator Kalu and called on other Abia elite to identify with the government’s efforts  in its bid to take Abia to the next level.
The governor said that  that he is looking forward to wooing opposition elements in the state to the Peoples Democratic Party, a party he described as the only platform that can achieve peace and prosperity of the country.
